Biography
Egyptian contemporary artist, I began my journey with art since childhood, where I had started to paint my family members, especially my late beloved father.
Because of my affection to different fields of arts, I had decided to study art academically. I took this path and currently, I am a professor of sculpture design at the Faculty of Applied Arts. Helwan University. Egypt.
I have been involved in the Fine Art Movement in Egypt since I was an undergraduate student. I have participated in international and local exhibitions. My latest one was in the school of art and design in Cardiff Metropolitan University in England.
I practiced art in different fields such as painting, sculpture, ceramic, digital sculpture and product design; In addition, I work with different materials such as aluminum, copper , clay and PVC.
My journey started with classic art, and then I mastered abstracted art. Along the way I have been inspired by many artists but the most were Henry Moor , Barbara and Brancusi
I believe art could reshape the soul and the heart of the society, and artist's function is glorifying life. In addition, with art, we can differentiate between the beautiful and ugly and sometimes art can aid us to find beauty in what others may perceive ugly. I am convinced that art and visual culture are two significant factors, which helped in establishing many of the great civilizations.
